A large Croatian retail chain, Studenac, is inviting people to work. More than 1200 retail outlets. Official employment without intermediaries. The contract provides for work during the holiday season (from April to October), but can be extended by mutual agreement (permanent employment).

Location: Croatia, resort towns.

Requirements: No health problems, sobriety, punctuality, no absenteeism. Learning ability. Experience in trading is a plus. Knowledge of basic English and/or Croatian is a big advantage.

Responsibilities:
– Filling shelves with goods, monitoring and ensuring deadlines, price tags and stock levels.
– Provide quality customer service in the fresh food departments
– In some positions, work with equipment for chopping sausages, slicing cheeses, meat grinders, etc.
– Working with a cash register for the position of a salesperson-cashier
– Checking quality and freshness, monitoring expiration dates
– Maintaining the cleanliness of the sales area.
No loading of heavy objects, warehouse work, etc.!

Salary: from € 850 net in hand and above. The salary depends on the location of the outlet (level of traffic, volume of goods and work). Overtime is added to vacation or compensatory days or paid at the end of the season. Bonuses up to €100 are possible.

Schedule: Two shifts 06:30/07:00 – 14:00 and 13:30/14:00 – 20:00/21:00 (depending on the specific store) in some cases, store hours are extended until 23:00. So: 7 working hours per day (excluding overtime), 1 day off per week.

Accommodation: Free with all amenities. Attention! The employer cannot guarantee separate accommodation for couples. An employer cannot hire employees with children under 18. Partial compensation is possible when renting your own home. The amount of compensation is set individually, but in any case it will not cover the full cost of rent, especially during the holiday season.

Additionally: Daily travel to and from work is paid by the employer as a salary supplement. The employer also compensates €50 for travel to Croatia in the first salary, subject to the provision of a travel document. Basic knowledge of Croatian and/or English will be decisive for the decision to extend the contract after the season. It is quite possible to learn Croatian during the season.
